Yoga at the museum

We invite you to enjoy a wellness and connection experience through a yoga session inside “El Baño” (The Bath), the iconic artwork by Huang Yong Ping, led by Elsa from Olas De Luz. A unique setting where contemporary art, nature, and mindful practice come together to offer a moment of calm, balance, and inspiration right in the heart of the Montenmedio Contemporánea Foundation.

A guided tour inviting visitors to discover the Sculpture Park through a journey where landscape and contemporary art come together. Accompanied by the team at Fundación Montenmedio Contemporánea, visitors will learn about the history of the project, the dialogue between the artworks and the natural environment, and gain insight into a unique collection integrated within the forest.

Drawing Workshop “A Walk Among the Pines”

An outdoor drawing workshop inviting participants to observe the pine trees of Fundación Montenmedio Contemporánea with curiosity and creativity. Guided by artist Anna Bellinger, participants will explore the form, texture and structure of the trees through observation, touch and drawing, using simple materials and requiring no previous artistic experience.

Reopening of James Turrell’s “Second Wind 2005”

To mark the reopening of Second Wind 2005 by James Turrell, visitors will be introduced to the restoration process carried out throughout 2026 with the support of the Diputacion of Cádiz. This intervention has restored one of the Foundation’s most iconic works, ensuring its preservation while returning the artist’s original experience to the public

“Changing the Way We See” Music workshop

An immersive audio-visual workshop led by Music Komité, exploring the language of moving images, sound and new technologies through creative experimentation. “Textile Collage & Thread Painting” Workshop

A creative workshop led by Virginia Filardi and Debaga, inviting participants to experiment with collage, embroidery and textile techniques from a contemporary perspective. By combining images, fabrics and thread, participants will create personal artworks exploring the relationship between art, identity and landscape.

A fun activity designed for families with children. Follow the clues hidden throughout the Sculpture Park, discover artworks nestled within the landscape and learn about the artists who created them. Available every Saturday and Sunday throughout July and August for the first family to book.

James Turrell´s Light Sequence

James Turrell’s Light Sequence offers an immersive experience inside Second Wind 2005, one of the artist’s most celebrated Skyspaces and his only permanent work in Spain. Through a carefully choreographed sequence of coloured light, visitors experience a transformation in their perception of space and the sky, making light itself the true protagonist of the artwork.
