NMAC FOUNDATION ARTISTIC CREATION SCHOLARSHIPS
The NMAC Foundation launches the Artists’ Residency thus maintaining its commitment to the promotion of plastic artists. This program of residencies, subsidised by the Ministry of Culture and Sport, will be a stimulus for the culture of the province, as well as a unique opportunity to bring the local population closer to contemporary artistic practice. In addition, this residency program will put the NMAC Foundation and the town of Vejer de la Frontera in a preferred place in the current artistic scene.
During the Fundación NMAC Residence, the artist will be invited to live and work in the Dehesa Montenmedio located in the province of Cádiz for a period of three months.
During his/her stay, the scholarship artist will have the support of the NMAC Foundation production team as well as the necessary technical advice for the correct development of the artistic project. In addition, the team of this institution will facilitate communication between the artist and an assigned mentor, thus ensuring a continuous dialogue around the creative process.
